You will serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative in the Industrial/Acquisition & Procurement Division, of the Industrial Business Operations Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities for participating in the planning, directing, controlling and administering of assigned program elements/resources in connection with the assigned areas.
Duties
You will perform a range of duties relating to the preparation of required acquisition documents, analysis, formulation, presentation, and execution of contracts.
You will analyze internal and external data to identify and explain any deviations from the pre-established obligations and expenditures.
You will provide support to the senior Acquisition Program Specialist on all aspects of contractual realms.
You will use the Government Commercial Purchase Card to acquire authorized supplies or services.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-05 Grade Level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: (1) Demonstrating working knowledge and skill to draw conclusions and make recommendations by analyzing facts and conditions, and making comparison of contract price and cost analysis; (2) Preparing technical documents and reports to present factual information and to draft contracts provisions and supporting documentation; (3) Applying analytical, financial, and contractual information and techniques to accomplish program goals and objectives; and (4) Interpreting agency policies promulgated by authorities to determine their effect on meeting acquisition and contract support requirements for assigned program.

You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
Or
You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
