This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA EM/Emerging Technology Directorate (EM) .
Duties
Serves as Office Manager for the Emerging Technology Directorate within the Enterprise Integration and Innovation Center. Performs completed staff actions for the Director and Deputy on a variety of issues.
Manages/oversees the Director and Deputy Director’s calendars, deconflicting meetings, preparing the Director/Deputy for their meetings to include obtaining read-ahead material.
Reviews all tasks received from DISA HQ and other agencies via the Task Management Tool (TMT), assigning taskers to the appropriate Emerging Technology office for action, review, and response.
Ensures suspense dates are met and responses incorporate the Directorate Chief’s philosophy and goals.
Prepare biweekly situational report (SITREP), coordinating across the Emerging Technology Directorate for input. Consolidates input and presents final product to Director and/or Deputy for review and submission.
Completes all travel orders and vouchers in the DoD Defense Travel System (DTS) for the Emerging Technology Director and Front Office staff. Provides DTS technical support to all users within the Directorate.
Holds and manages the Directorate Government Purchase Card, responsible for all purchases for the Emerging Technology Directorate.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Serving as the primary point of contact and liaison for managerial, administrative and technical concerns/issues; performing special projects; and managing calendars and office budgets.
