Duties
Serves as real estate, real property, and space planning subject matter expert (SME) for an IMCOM Directorate-Pacific supporting an Army Command.
Develops standards for real estate, real property and space planning functions across all IMCOM Directorate-Pacific covered Army installations.
Establishes both current and long-term objectives by organizing and managing all functional areas and associated resources related to mission accomplishment.
Reviews realty and space utilization accomplishments of garrisons for technical adequacy, consistency, and compliance with policies, procedures, directives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Must be able to perform up to 10% of temporary duty (TDY) travel.

Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level in the Federal service or equivalent which duties includes demonstrating an understanding of real estate principles, policies and methods related to a broad spectrum of realty issues covering the three major areas of acquisition, management and/or disposal; working with public reutilization committees on planning and execution of installation utilization in an excess posture; addressing complex issues dealing with out-granting and disposal of real estate as it relates to environmental restoration.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
