You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (Employee Benefits) in the G-1 LABOR & EMPLOYEE RELATIONS/EMPLOYEE PROGRAMS BRANCH of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will develop and maintain systems to monitor and report progress against established goals and objectives.
You will assure that Command worker's compensation directives and policies are effective and consistent with Federal Statutes, executive orders, and other regulatory sources.
You will seek out and identify fraudulent claims by ensuring the investigation of circumstances surrounding questionable claims.
You will assist managers who elect to controvert injury compensation claims by thoroughly analyzing employee's claims.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and coordinating worker compensation program's such as Job Placement, and Light Duty Accommodation and advising on policy for supervisor guidance on employee performance and benefit programs.
