About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Supply Management and Property Book Officer for two Principal-led organizations, the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6 and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with oversight over three Field Operating Agencies of the CIO, the Enterprise Cloud Management Agency, the Executive Services Agency and the Army Analytics Group.
Duties
Provide for the procurement of Information technology (IT) equipment and maintenance contracts, furniture, and office supplies by independently reviewing requests for equipment and furniture.
Create individual reports of discrepancies or modifications to contracts when required.
Make direct contact with outside agencies in conjunction with Purchasing and Contracting Agency to ensure availability of equipment to satisfy current or future requirements.
Provide supply management technical advice and assistance such as mandatory sources, accountability (receiving reports), and regulatory interpretation.
Perform supply staff studies on the development of policies and procedures for supply management and control, in the areas of expendable supplies and services.
Serve as Supply Coordinator on policies, procedures, and administrative matters with respect to procurement, supply property accountability, disposal, maintenance, and repair services for CIO and G-6.

To qualify for this position you must meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying regulations and procedures to implement supply and logistics management across two HQ Department of the Army Principal level organizations; performing written and oral communication techniques to implement strategies for property, logistics plans and policies; conducting periodic property audits; and analyzing and resolving difficult issues and problems relative to supply programs and management.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
