This position is part of the State and Community Energy Programs, Department of Energy. As a Budget Analyst, (Senior Budget Analyst (Supervisory), you will provide leadership on DOE's budget process and analysis of a variety of highly complex DOE budgetary operations and functions in the assigned organization or program areas. It also requires a variety of liaison and coordination functions internal and external to the SCEP organization that requires broad-based expertise.

As a Budget Analyst, (Senior Budget Analyst (Supervisory), you will:

- You are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
- New supervisors/managers are required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- New supervisors are required to complete 80 hours of supervisory training of which 40 hours must be completed during your first year as a supervisor.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- This position is not included in a Bargaining Agreement.
- This position does not support 100% remote work. You will be required to report physically to the official reporting worksite as specified by the supervisor, but no less than 2 days per pay period.
- This position us to be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA - P.L. 117-58).
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Managing budget and program execution on budget activities; and
Providing guidance to senior staff on the management of budget policy and execution; and
Plans work and sets priorities, to ensure the timely delivery of products.
