You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Sustainment Group, Tech Data Unique FST Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will provide direct supervision to the assigned technical data community.
You will serve as Project Lead for assigned technical data community to provide oversight and management of
current and projected IP TD LEM workload requirements and training plans.
You will assist in the development and execute the planning, directing, and prioritizing of activities
concerning the assigned community and the Technical Data Branches.
You will assess the abilities of the assigned community team to meet current, future, and contingency
workload requirements.
You will provide support to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Cooperative Programs for a wide variety of aircraft and weapon systems.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working knowledge of International (i.e. Foreign Military Sales (FMS)), Programs technical data management and sustainment process; Knowledge of sanitization procedure guidelines, protocols and pertinent policy directives and documents. 2) Exposure to Foreign Disclosure policies and processes. 3) Experience working with Foreign Distribution Requirements List (FDRL) within Technical Manual Application Systems (TMAPS). 4) Handle all aspects of Technical Manuals, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) from traditional paper/Portable Document Format Type 1 and 2 IETMS. 5) Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) for the development of contracts and contract modifications required for the acquisition of logistics supportability products. 6) Utilize accepted managerial and administrative techniques required to manage and direct professional and non-professional as an integrated unit. 7) Reviews Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Technical Directives (TD) as well as feedback received via Technical Publication Deficient Reports (TPDR) and logistics analysis and assess the impact of the changes under review.
