Duties

Serves as a Supervisory IT Program Manager in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) program J62KB responsible for directing and overseeing the development and implementation of assigned project initiatives within the J62 development program. Support and manage projects that entail working with Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Advana team on new and current data requests. Negotiates with other Applications Development supervisors/Program Managers in creating Software Development Directives and Instructions Manages the development and enforcement of DLA Information Operations standard methods and procedures for the execution of application development functions. Acts as the Integration and Development Supervisor/Project Manager ensuring that DLA is responsible, accountable, and in compliance with overarching Department of Defense (DoD) directives and guidance. Develops and interprets policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout DLA, making decisions and/or recommendations that significantly influence important DLA policies and programs Articulates and provides management of the systems integration of all modernization programs that support DLA EDW transformation and modernization. Principal advisor to the Division Chief of the Program Management Office (PMO)overseeing the introduction of new technologies/information (continued) systems to meet functional requirements of DLA,as well as new projects and initiatives that involve OSD Advana team. Ensures that the Design, Development and Deployment of projects are on schedule, within cost and obtain performance levels as originated in the planning phases, by the functional and technical communities. Provides direction and guidance for the acquisition, design, programming, testing, systems integration, product improvement, and fielding of projects within J62KB.
