You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Air Systems Group, Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will lead a team of logistics professionals who are responsible for all logistic products, availability and sustainability of the Aerial Refueling Store and External Fuel Tank for platforms and FMS customers to achieve optimum life cycle support.
You will lead logistics subject matter experts and team members in sustainment and acquisition of new capabilities to support manned and unmanned aerial refueling, including organic and commercial depots, inventory management, manpower and training.
You will initiate and manage procurement contracts, including market research, statement of work (SOWs), and interface with manufacturers.
You will assist with managing sustainment resources allocated to the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to include determining requirements, configuration management, POM submissions, and execution of funding.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Demonstrating working knowledge and understanding of organic and commercial maintenance depots, supply support and technical data; 2) Applying job-related experience to support equipment, inventory management, manpower and training, sustainment budget and funding, and configuration management for assigned aircraft weapons systems; 3) Coordinating and evaluating the efforts of technical personnel to identify logistics management requirements to accomplish agency goals and objectives; and 4) Developing and adjusting logistics management plans and schedules in support of assigned aircraft weapons systems.
