This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent reports to the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity Office and provides technical expertise on EEO data. As an EEO Specialist, this position supports one or more of the EEO Programs including: EEO complaints, Anti-harassment, Affirmative Employment and Disability..
Duties
As an Equal Employment Specialist (EEO DATA ANALYST), you will:
Serve as a technical representative for the EEO office on data relating to all EEO programs.
Review, analyze, and develop new procedures, policies, and guidelines for use within a major agency segment, such as the EEO office.
Develop and conduct briefings, coordinate and lead meetings.
Prepare training materials and deliver training on a variety of EEO topics.
Prepare and update various special and recurring reports. Develop and plan various data calls to solicit regular and special program data. Conduct various analyses based on received data, identified records and documents, and customer comments. Identify trends, problem areas, and recommended solutions. Conduct analysis to evaluate the capabilities needed for projected programs, and the impact of projected programs on current operations
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, regulations, policies, or procedures. AND
Assisting with analyzing statistics for reporting and preparing data to develop statistical reports based on the results of the analysis. AND
Following methods and procedures regarding data, management, management reports, and data analysis.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F):For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11level for 52 weeks.
