This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. This position is assigned to the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity. The EEO office is assigned directly to the Office of the Archivist with the responsibility of providing leadership, direction and guidance to carry out NARA's EEO Program.
Duties
As an Equal Employment Manager (Anti-Harassment/Disability Supervisor), you will:
Be responsible for theAgency's Anti-Harassment and Disability Programs.
Conduct fact finding inquiries/investigations which entails reconciling and reconstructing conflicting and ambiguous information to determine the best course of action to prevent and correct inappropriate and harassment conduct or behavior.
Facilitate, lead, and negotiate in discussions and meetings with the Ad Hoc Committee on Harassment.
Develop and recommend policies and establishes internal standard operating procedures to address highly complex program issues, processes, and systems.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Supervising or leading an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program (ex: Anti-harassment, Disability);
AND
Utilizing Equal Employment Opportunity concepts, laws, regulations, and policies, sufficient to provide advice and guidance to management relative to incorporating Equal Employment Opportunity program strategies into strategic direction and operational processes.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F):
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
