About the Position: You will serve as a Senior Engineering Technician providing contract administration and construction quality assurance (QA) services for the project office.

Duties
At the GS-11 grade level, the duties are developmental in nature leading to the full performance level of GS-0802-12. The duties are described at the GS-12 level.
Work with the Office Engineer processing contract modifications from preparing cost estimates, evaluate contractor’s proposals, evaluate claims and finalize modification documents for the Contracting Officer.
Provides technical support to the Project office utilizing various scheduling systems.
Provide advice and instructions to Resident or Project Office employees on contract administration issues to include training of Resident Office staff.
Conduct a wide array of activities associated with negotiation changes and new task orders awards with contractors.
Provide expertise and guidance concerning safety and quality assurance to all sections and personnel under the purview of the Resident office
