You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division (WXQ), Spectrum Warfare Systems Dept (WX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as U.S. Air Force (USAF) Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Manager, working as the subject matter expert for EW Systems deployed by the USAF.
You will lead the implementation of countermeasure and defeat capabilities through specialized systems developed for Counter-Improvised Electronic Devices (C-IED) and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) technologies.
You will act as the primary interface between the Expeditionary Electronics Warfare Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane, defeat systems equipment manufacturers, and the USAF EW Program Office.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating and evaluating research, development, or implementation of electronic warfare system requirements to support the technological advancement and sustainment within the system life cycle for electronic warfare programs.
