This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Information Systems Division (TC), Business Program Management Section, Procurement Management Unit.
This position(s) primary purpose is to support the Program Management Unit providing analysis and assessment of division-wide initiatives, projects, or programs with strategic, enterprise, or tactical impacts relative to the agency strategy.

As a Program Analyst your typical work assignments may include:
Serving as a Contract Administrator and Contracting Officer's Representative (FAX) Level II
Conducting procurement reviews of the execution of acquisitions and procurements.
Serving as principal advisor on all personnel matters
Overseeing the application, submission and determination process for security clearances and employee suitability

Qualifications
Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience. Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify for the GS-12 level: Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: 1) Preparing request for proposals, establishing and administering contractual arrangement and procurement proposals; 2) identifying resources (staff, funding, equipment, of facilities) required to support varied levels of program operations; 3) Conducting program and contract oversight, reviews and audits; 4) Developing methods for reviewing and analyzing contractor work performance.
To qualify for the GS-13 level:Must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level or pay band in the Federal service that includes performing the following duties: 1) Preparing request for proposals, establishing and administering contractual arrangement and procurement proposals; 2) Identifying resources (staff, funding, equipment, of facilities) required to support varied levels of program operations; 3) Conducting program and contract oversight, reviews and audits; 4) Developing methods for reviewing and analyzing contractor work performance. 5) Ability to make policy and planning changes based on contract interpretation.
