Duties
Carry out the day-to-day operations of the Force Management Office.
Advise, counsel, or instruct unit employees on both work and administrative matters.
Establish and disseminate manpower related policies and procedures.
Coordinate with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals.
Brief the command to provide results of organizational analysis.
Apply management theories and techniques to complex issues or organizational conflict.
Provide manpower requirements input for the command's operating budget.
Serve as a liaison with high level officials regarding organizational analysis matters.
Provide input on non-routine, costly, or controversial training needs and training requests.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves conducting force management, organizational, and workload studies for higher headquarters review; analyzing activation and inactivation of military units; reviewing proposed military unit organizational changes; and designing or redesigning military organizational structures. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
