You will serve as a Manufacturing Assistant in the Manufacturing Planning Branch of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will assemble cost report data using an automated spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) to develop analyses in determining trends.
You will compile written reports to provide status or project updates.
You will consult with personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities.
You will advise the command on effective management control techniques that will provide an accurate status and progress of procurement tasking’s and projects.
You will determine amount of available resources to devote to each phase of work.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Maintaining master and history part number files for manufacturing job orders and maintain files in numerical folder orders. 2) Checking the documents for Planner and Estimator, job order number, work order number, etc. to ensure accuracy prior to processing. 3) Final pricing, routing, or delivering completed parts, closing and filing completed work orders and notifying budget branch to close job order numbers. 4) Coordinating and relaying information flow, tracking requirement process and making recommendations to refine the work progress. 5) Gathering and distributing technical drawings, technical derivate and technical manuals required for manufacturing and assembling aircraft, engines, accessory and support equipment parts.
