You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (MANPOWER) in the Force Manpower Division (N12) offices of COMNAVSURFPAC.
Duties
You will develop and prepare manpower plans and execute manpower procedures pertaining to surface ships, associated Afloat Training Groups and other naval surface commands and shore activities manpower requirements.
You will conduct analysis in determination of minimum quantitative and qualitative manpower requirements.
You will be responsible for the solicitation, consolidation, review and analysis of subordinate command Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions for manpower acquisitions.
You will enter billet level detail for all manpower issues, both existing and future.
You will ensure contractor data information is balanced with coordination with contracting offers and others.
You will prepare recommendations and endorsements on specific manpower policy issues for all activities.
You will develop manpower changes using automated systems.
You will attend manpower planning conferences as the Force Manpower Officer's representative.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing analytical techniques to conduct manpower requirement studies, and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a manpower personnel program.
