About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army Medical Command Headquarters, located Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Serves as the expert for the Patient Administration Division.

Duties

Provide both short- and long-term planning guidance in accordance with broad agency program policies and objectives to meet program goals. Provides recommendations on policies and programs to address privacy issues. Implement strategies for significant changes to policies, procedures, functions and programs. Understanding of DoD healthcare facility planning healthcare processes and standards. Develops, revises, publishes, and implements policy about implementation and compliance of MEDCOM and Army entities with the HIPAA Privacy Rule and use and disclosure of PHI.

• Position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel of up to 5% of the time.
