Duties
Serves as an Identity Credential Access Management (ICAM) Branch systems analyst and technical expert to include providing support for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of ICAM and Zero Trust Identity based systems and processes.
Provides advice, recommendations, and conducts analysis project planning, justification, and evaluation with emphasis upon requirements assessment, system/component design, development/programming options, and optimal testing methodology.
Coordinates efforts of a group of system analysts who translate critical ICAM Zero Trust Identity requirements into systems, applications, and processes.
Identifies any acquisitions needed for development of operation hardware, software and on-premises and cloud service provider-based hosting environments.
Leads and/or participates in ICAM based projects that develop methods to define ICAM system requirements based on long-range objectives, customer feedback, and knowledge of technological advances.
Evaluates and provides advice in the definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software, integrations and processes being developed.
Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances Zero Trust Identity as a Service based on customers’ identity and access management requirements, including single sign-on, identity federation, enterprise directory architecture and design, ....

Performs, coordinates, and guides studies related to J-6 oversight including strategic planning, ICAM and Zero Trust compliance activities, infrastructure and application systems, and information assurance to monitor and improve or ....

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSTEMS ANALYSIS), your resume and supporting documentation must include:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including, time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Mastery knowledge of state-of-the-art IT process, hardware and software and systems design, testing, deployment and operation and their interrelationships to evaluate technical advancements and to develop, test, and evaluation approaches and policies, and resolve critical problems.
- Leads and/or participates in IT technical efforts that develop and implement system/application requirements based on long-range objectives, customer feedback, and knowledge of technological advances.
- Ability to manage, coordinate, integrate, and evaluate a variety of concurrent projects and to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to routinely present technical briefings to senior technical and managerial personnel, to prepare in-depth reports.
- Develop and implement specifications, standard plans and procedures for cloud based and/or on-premise deployments of Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) / Identity and Access Management (IdAM) based integrations, ICAM/IdAM related software system/component implementations and ICAM/IdAM & Zero Trust (ZT) information assurance/system security requirements.
