About the Position: This position is for a Military Analyst (Future Wargaming) with the US Army Space & Missile Defense Command, located at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Duties

Responsible for development of the command wargaming and experimentation strategy to examine emerging concepts within the Space, High Altitude, and Missile Defense mission areas. Plans and conducts analysis of initiatives for Army and Joint space, high altitude, and missile defense capabilities. Develops, coordinates, and integrates initiatives into experiments or wargames in order to determine suitability, feasibility and applicability to the Army and Joint warfighter. Stays abreast of emerging US Army concepts and capabilities with respect to Army modernization efforts, as they affect the Space and Missile Defense Command.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required approximately 30% of the duty time.
  • Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R or a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
