Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) - Arlington, VA.
The selectee of this position serves as a Management and Program Analyst. You will be responsible for USMS external audits and strategic planning processes, including the development of project plans, OPR initiatives, and identifying and recommending areas of strategic importance that tie into OPR and USMS mission goals and objectives.
Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Monitoring the USMS audit program to ensure that agency managers are aware and comply with audit policies, procedures, and requirements.
Planning, organizing, and conducting all phases of the projects and assignments including developing studies, estimating costs, data analysis, strategic planning, etc.
Working with Divisions, Staff Offices, and Office of General Counsel to prepare responses to findings, recommendations, and reports.
Implementing OPR initiatives through business reengineering of current program practices.
Communicating with other DOJ components to discuss areas of mutual concern that may arise in audits.

Qualifications
GS-13 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0343-13 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications:
Possess at lease one year (12-months) of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service that demonstrates experience in: 1.) Monitoring audit recommendations until corrective actions are completed; 2). Reviewing and analyzing program data and preparing analytical statistical reports; 3). Gathering information, identifying, and analyzing issues/concerns, and developing recommendations to resolve problems arising from external audits; 4). Coordinating and facilitating external audits; and 5). Supporting a team or office on external audits and strategic planning initiatives. NOTE: (Your resume must clearly demonstrate this experience).
