This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Resource Management (FR), Financial Management Division (FC).
This position is responsible for managing position and organizational control at the agency level in effort to provide information, projections, advice, and recommendations to FR, FC, and the Executive Staff regarding the amount of DEA' s resources devoted to personnel and payroll in the current and future budget years.

As a Supervisory Management Analyst, your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as the Section Chief provides leadership and direction of all FRM activities and projects, reviews employees' work, and advises them on work-related matters.
Coordinating, informing, negotiating, or generally maintaining liaison with other management officials in DEA, the Department of Justice (DOJ), or the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
Providing input to the budget planning and execution processes by developing payroll budget modules, projecting future costs, and forecasting staff attrition and accession levels.
Partners with the Human Resources Division (HR) to adjudicate requests for position upgrades, helping to ensure and enforce standards for corporate consistency.
Makes major recommendations and/or final decisions on restructuring, reorienting, recasting immediate and long range goals.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent: 1) providing technical and administrative supervision of staff responsible for personnel and payroll budgets; (2) developing and managing agency-wide organizational staffing levels (3) establishing long-range work plans and implementing goals and objectives.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
