About the Position: Serves as a Program Integration Officer responsible for integrating the activities of the Project Office and for interfacing with higher-level entities to achieve overall goals and objectives necessary to accomplish the goals of the organization.
This position is subject to a salary control point at to the GS-14, step 10 base salary.
Duties
Serve as Program Integrator for Project Officer functions to include systems engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, and program management.
Collaborate across multiple components providing technical, contractual, fiscal and logistical services to support program requirements.
Recommend actions necessary to correct any indicated problem areas, schedule slippage or increased cost.
Provides for periodic project management reviews with appropriate representation from staff agencies and industry to determine program status, major milestone accomplishment, and coordination of each subsystem.
Complete complex work that has far reaching impact on functions such as system engineering, programming, budgeting, contracting, and overall facilities and services.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 30% of the time.
- This position is a Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) and requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2889 (Critical Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement.
- Selectee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category of Program Management and Practitioner Career Level Certification must be met within 60 months.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires submission of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
