This vacancy is for a Policy Analyst position in the Department of Commerce located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.

Duties
Coordinates and documents policies, and involved with researching and analyzing policies.
Fosters communications to identify and resolve policy issues.
Provides leadership, guidance and advice on developing and implementing policy review procedures.
Supervises one or more employees on a regular and recurring basis.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: managing and negotiating with executive level officials regarding development and execution of federal policies and procedures; analyzing and evaluating data quality and content, policy changes, and proposed legislation; develop and disseminate guidelines related to the policy review process; delegate, assign and review staff work and provide technical and administrative guidance.
