Duties
The incumbent is expected to perform the full range of administrative officer responsibilities. Responsibilities include administering the budget, financial management, human resources, and other general administrative activities consistent with programmatic objectives and NIST policies. The incumbent is expected to provide guidance, advice, and information on these matters to senior management and other organizations. General administrative activities include but are not limited to, procurement acquisitions, guest researcher/contractor agreements, assistance awards, purchase card activities, travel management and property management.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 level (ZA-I at NIST) in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience assisting with performing budget planning, financial management and general administration to include human resource functions.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
