Duties

You will plan and execute complex IT-related assignments using conventional approaches and techniques independently and as a project team member. You will develop, test, document, and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration for programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components. You will write and maintain application and technical documentation. You will work with customers/end users to support, develop, test, and troubleshoot applications. You will gather, analyze, and document functional business requirements.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area of Software Developer, intermediate level within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate. Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning and executing IT-related assignments and diagnosing and resolving complex programming problems and issues; 2) Testing data migration using the Salesforce platform; 3) Conducting software quality control tests; and 4) Adhering to coding standards and participating in coding reviews. GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning IT-related assignments and assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of complex programming problems and issues; 2) Testing data migration using the Salesforce platform; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of software quality control tests; and 4) Adhering to coding standards and participating in coding reviews. A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
