About the Position:: This position is in the Naval Medical Center Office of Dir of Resource, Performance Analysis and Evaluation. San Diego, CA. San Diego is a city on the Pacific coast of California known for its beaches, parks and warm climate. Immense Balboa Park is the site of the San Diego Zoo, as well as numerous art galleries, art studios museums and gardens. A deep harbor is the Home to a large active naval fleet, with the USS Midway an aircraft-carrier-turned-museum, open to the public.

Duties

Prepares reports based on studies and analysis and provides metrics and other information to executive leadership. Serves as a consultant in all areas of financial and clinical workload reporting. Serves as a review specialist and revision coordinator for newly developed or modified information retrieval systems. Performs ongoing activities related to the data integrity function to improve the quality and accuracy. Manages the program through the completion of checklists and audits regarding access, security, privacy, standards, and the coordination of automated workload generated data.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
