You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the GLOBAL DETERRENCE & DEFENSE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-14/15 level.
Duties
You will serve as the program manager for the research, planning, implementation, and successful execution of Hypersonics workload within Global Department.
You will be responsible for Strategic Initiatives that relate or interact with hypersonics workload and tasking for the Global Deterrence and Defense Department and NSWC Crane.
You will perform and lead studies, utilize scientific inquiry using methodical models, and provide guidance and assistance in the evaluation of alternative courses of action for the program across technical and programmatic issues.
You will study proposals initiated by other analytic activities to be considered for implementation into our activities hypersonic tasking.
You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, and objectives.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, reviews and approves all analytic products produced by subordinates, and determines schedules for completion of work consistent with command suspenses and obligations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-05 (GS-13/14) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading or managing programs efforts in the development of strategic plans to ensure development of the workforce, effective execution of workload, and quality of support and services to assigned customers.
