You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Naval Shipyard Support Office (NSSO) Code 1500B) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will provide oversight, direction, and management of the naval shipyards engaged in maintenance, repair, overhaul, and modernization of U.S. Navy ships. You will evaluate the effectiveness of line or operating programs that include developing policy, plans, procedures, and functional direction. You will serve as the Project Management process champion for the shipyard. You will determine priorities for business process and IT defect corrections and improvements. You will be responsible for long-range planning, budgeting, scheduling, security certification, and management tool development,

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in program management, evaluating programs including policy planning, development, procedures, and functional direction of Norfolk Naval Shipyard and NAVSEA maintenance and strategic planning functions Experience as a liaison for all activities performing ship repair, maintenance, overhaul and modernization; Experience with project management fundamentals, including resource management, material management, financial management, and facilities and equipment maintenance; Experience with ship maintenance IT operating programs; Experience developing, tracking, and assessing the progress and effectiveness of program initiatives to meet NSSO mission.
