You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Country Program Management Department (N3) of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.

Duties

You will use of various computer systems used in the planning and programming of student training for various training opportunities. You will use the principles, methods, practices, and techniques of education and various instructional delivery systems used in skills and knowledge training for officer and enlisted technical training. You will administrative procedures related to scheduling foreign students.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: (Basic) (SC441)

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting the Command with decision-making authority in formulating new methods and procedures for the administration of the quota management program by providing professional and technical guidance; 2) Developing new approaches or concepts to resolve problems and/or make recommendations or decisions; 3) Planning training capacity to meet foreign training requirements in applicable U.S. Navy courses; and 4) Communicating new concepts and complex recommendations to a higher authority, both U.S. and foreign, in a manner that facilitates discussions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
