The FBI Cyber Division (CyD), Cyber Technical Analytics and Operations Section (CTAOS), Cyber Infrastructure Services Unit (CISU) located in Chantilly, Virginia. CISU provides the secure and transformation delivery of services to CyD and our partners by building and continuously improving highly reliable, value driven centralized infrastructure and backbone services.
Duties
Serves as an IT Specialist directly supporting acquisition programs, budget, inventory, and license and contract management functions.
Serves as Point of Contact (POC) regarding IT operational processes and functions that support the service, provide direction, and monitor all significant activities so the service is delivered successfully.
Assists with developing and maintaining strategic plans, using all available tools to accommodate for returns/replacements/warranty support.
Analyzes information and data that monitor and measure efficiency, metrics, risk, compliance efforts and customer satisfaction for CATE.
Assists senior IT specialists with formulating plans, policies, procedures while establishing and maintaining communications, change management, asset management, budgets, metrics, and logistics in support of the Unit's Total Cost of Ownership and Asset Accountability.
Provides recommendations to senior IT specialists to develop, draft and maintain the CATE Program Management Guide, policies and procedures.
Recommend contract language to ensure supply chain, system, network, and operational security requirements.
Qualifications
GS-11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
Experience conducting analysis of current systems to determine the feasibility of new or modified IT.
Experience recommending improvements to meet the mission outcomes with customer satisfaction.
Experience with using IT operational policies, procedures, capabilities, methods, and programs and specifications.
Experience working with IT project management, planning, and cost benefit analysis techniques relative to IT project management functions.

Education
All degrees must be from an accredited college or university. Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
GS-11: Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
