Duties
MODERNIZING THE MILITARY'S SPACE ARCHITECTURE - The Space Development Agency (SDA) orchestrates the development and fielding of DoD's future threat-driven National Defense Space Architecture. Our mission begins and ends with the warfighter, recognizing that good enough capabilities in the hands of the warfighter sooner may be better than delivering the perfect solution too late.

SDA will deliver capabilities to our joint warfighting forces in two-year tranches that advance capabilities following a spiral approach.
Working at the youngest Defense Agency in the Department of Defense, SDA personnel embody the motto SEMPER CITIUS - always faster - moving at or ahead of the speed of the threat because we know the joint warfighter is counting on us. Establishing new ways of doing business within the Department while developing new capabilities on 2 year timelines isn't for everyone, but accepting the challenge reaps great rewards! #TeamSDA
