Duties

As a OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • This position is designated as Special Sensitive; the incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Developing innovative and feasible solutions to complex issues in which the boundaries are broad and difficult to determine in advance; Organizing and managing the details of multiple and related subjects, issues, and situations to present and recommend solutions in a logical, cohesive format; Planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production. 2. Customer Service - Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement. 3. Flexibility - Is open to change and new information; rapidly adapts to new information, changing conditions and strategy, or unexpected obstacles, processes, and requirements.
