You will serve as a Lead Prototype Support Specialist in the Lifecycle Acquistion Support Branch, Acquisition Support Division, Prototyping, Instrumentation and Experimentation Department, Digital Analytics, Infrastructure and Technology Advancement Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will identify, distribute and balance workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level or occupational specialization.
You will analyze the needs of programs, work with subject matter experts, document and report on contractor performance, coordinate requirements with vendors and ensure quality is maintained to support the appropriate acquisition strategy.
You will gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by personnel to improve the management process.
You will communicate and provide details to industry partners and identify material that is required to perform aircraft modifications.
You will prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), CDRL Matrix, Statement of Work and/or Performance Work Statements.
You will use management information systems and create metrics that are analyzed to identify and suggest ways to implement improvements within the organization.
You will apply and recommend analytical techniques, accounting, budget, workload planning, and economic principles and techniques.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating knowledge of aircraft parts, the aircraft modification process, and the procurement of aircraft items; 2) Gathering information, identifying and analyzing project requirements, communicating with engineers, technicians and manufacturers to procure mission critical items; 3) Using management information systems to analyze information, allocate resources, develop schedules, and create cost estimates; 4) Monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work and recommending changes to meet project standards and deadlines.
