Duties
As an Support Services Supervisor - Director Digital Enterprise, you will:
Serve as the principal management official responsible for providing advice and recommendations to the Assistant Secretary, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO) and other Departmental officials on broad policy matters affecting the management of Digital Enterprise services.
Plan and direct staff operations for a wide variety of paperwork management functions, including but not limited to, audio-visual communications, micro graphics services, printing services and Departmental document distribution systems, and mail management, including providing technical advice to HUD Headquarters program offices and field offices.
Provide HUD with professional Audiovisual Communications that includes Broadcasting, Web Casting, Training Support, Video Production, Audio Visual Support, Social Media and Photography.
Plan, direct and coordinate the work of subordinates, and supervisors responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to documents distribution and mail operations.
Provide comprehensive analysis of communications programs, operations, logistics, engineering support and other activities regarding their effectiveness, economy, results and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Supervising or leading staff by planning, organizing, and coordinating workloads and evaluating performance standards; AND
Developing recommendations for improving the efficiency of operational programs, and tracking performance; AND
Analyze and evaluate issues/problems related to office operations, policies, and procedures and contributes to the development of major policies.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
