You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Dispenser Design and Prototype Branch of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will perform duties as a Task Manager preparing and reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs), detailed project plans, and Cost Estimates that clearly define tasking, basis of estimate, and the amount of funds required to perform tasks.
You will identify project risks and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate these risks based on working knowledge of platform integration.
You will lead efforts with key organization personnel in developing, negotiating, controlling and coordinating program requirements including identifying the scope and nature of tasks to be performed by each participating organizational segment.
You will continually monitor and analyze projects and overall program direction based on the reviews, provide vital data for participants in planning meetings.
You will work with other logistics and technical personnel to adjust work schedules, workload, and negotiate the resolution of problems or conflicts that impede progress in completing requirements.
You will analyze and evaluate objectives, policies, work operations (e.g., engineering, logistics, mission support), resource estimates and utilization to identify problems, trends, funding imbalances and recommend new program/project direction.
You will participate in a variety of meetings and briefings to support the organization and Program Office as well as representing the organization on specialized and complex administrative and/or technical areas.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
FOR NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience analyzing and evaluating business platform requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables in order to improve efficiency and execution of business systems integration.
