About the Position: This position serves as a Safety and Occupational Health Management Specialist, located at Installation Management Command, Installation Safety Office, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
Develops, coordinates, and executes encompassing, mandatory safety, and occupational health training programs.
Plan, coordinate, and direct safety and occupational health-related actions.
Prepares and presents safety briefings, attends meetings, seminars, and conducts training classes.
Investigate personal injury, material damage, and occupational disease cases and accidents.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% or more.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- Secret clearance required.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Level 1 - CP 12 Certification within one year of employment
- Rotating Shifts, evenings, weekends, and over time.
