DCSA's CI/Insider Threat Directorate is seeking a Counterintelligence All-Source Intelligence Analyst. In this role you will focus on foreign intelligence entities' threats to critical technology. Additionally, you will review, evaluate, interpret, and analyze intelligence data to assess foreign intelligence threats to U.S. critical technologies. Daily responsibilities include researching, screening, collecting, evaluating, and disseminating finished intelligence assessments and briefings.
Duties
As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Reviews and interprets threat data from all information sources, including the DoD, Intelligence Community and raw information obtained by DCSA by the routine conduct of its missions.
- Identifies the overall emphasis of processed information as it relates to the specified or identified problem, developing rational hypotheses and theories, and identifying new trends or patterns based on the processed information.
- Produces finished intelligence assessments and briefs of findings to inform operational policy guidance; to inform DCSA management and field elements, and, U.S. Government Program Offices on foreign intelligence threats.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: In-depth knowledge of all-source counterintelligence (CI) analysis, with a focus on foreign intelligence entities' threats to critical technology and related subject matter areas as they pertain to personnel and industrial security. Experience reviewing and interpreting threat data from various sources to identify the overall emphasis of processed information as it relates to the specified or identified problem, developing rational hypotheses and theories, and identifying new trends or patterns based on the processed information, and producing finished intelligence assessments and briefs of findings to inform multiple stakeholders. Experience informing audiences on foreign intelligence threats, assisting in the development and presentation of comprehensive training on CI and related issues to employees in the cleared national industrial base.
Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:

Writing - Recognizes or uses correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a brief, clear, and organized manner; produces written information, which may include technical material, that is appropriate for the intended audience.
5. Counterintelligence - Apply knowledge of the Counterintelligence Functional Services categories, to include: support to arms control/treaties; briefings, debriefings and reporting; research and analysis; and inquiries.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
