You will act as a TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR in the Assistant Regional Engineer (ARE) Office of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.

Duties

You will serve as the Transportation and Fuels Program Manager for Navy Region Southwest and the 10 supported Installations You will monitor, track and support the execution of Transportation and Fuel resources and initiatives You will professionally represent CNIC and the Region as a liaison with various tenant commands and stakeholders You will plan, organize and lead management reviews (e.g, assess effectiveness of systems, procedures, policies, and utilization of resources) You will analyze productivity, effectiveness, or efficiency of program operations to recommend process improvements You will develop strategic plans based on information from performing quantitative or qualitative analyses You will identify and analyze policy and procedural issues to formulate solutions You will create a written plan of action to document continuous process improvement initiatives You will conduct briefings to recommend improvement of program operations or objectives You will provide recurring reports and briefs to Region and Navy leadership on the overall status and health of the Region's Transportation and Fuels programs

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing a complex facility or base operating support program to include planning, programming, budgeting and execution of requirements; 2) Analyze financial, budget and/or resource information to determine alignment with standard processes and metrics and make risk based recommendations on program priorities and changes; 3) Develop and implement innovative solutions in coordination with leadership and higher organizational commands such as CNIC HQ and NAVFAC HQ; 4) Provide extensive executive communication, both written and oral, to include budget development, presentation and justification to management and leadership; NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume.
