You will serve as a BUSINESS LINE FACILITATOR in the ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS LINE RESOURCES AND ASSESSMENTS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will analyze plans, projects, or programs to determine if resources are adequate.
You will develop standards, policies, and directives to provide guidance on compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations to staff.
You will identify actual or potential problem areas to evaluate the effect of alternative or corrective actions on program objectives.
You will collaborate with senior leaders to define or implement strategic direction for environmental program goals and objectives.
You will develop briefings for the delivery of program information to senior leaders.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Must be able to successfully complete the following training courses within the prescribed timeframe: Information Assurance and Ethics training within 30 days of Entrance on Duty AND NAVFAC/CNIC Business programs within six months.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Working with multiple stakeholders in the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of environmental programs; 2) Interpreting and evaluating environmental policy, procedures, laws, and regulations; and 3) Reviewing projects to ensure that environmental effects are considered in project planning and decision-making. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented in your resume in order to be considered qualified.
