The primary purpose of this position is to function as a Joint Fires Element operations planner and Information Warfare planner within the 16th Air Force Joint Effects Division (A38). Manages development of assigned cyberspace effects operations mission packages on behalf of, and in coordination with USCYBERCOM, other supported Combatant Commands (CCMD), and Joint Force Headquarters-Cyber Air Force.
Duties
Manages and oversees full-spectrum Information Warfare (IW) operational planning efforts with Joint Fires synchronization.
Leads internal and external planning teams and joint fires processes to develop options and outcomes.
Serves as a functional authority on Joint Fires, Joint Planning, Cyber Operations and Information Warfare issues to leadership.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
This is a GG-14 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of Cyber Operations (CO) concepts, principles, and practices, such as would be gained through extended and progressively more responsible experience, and demonstrated ability to apply this technical knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments associated with military/contingency and crisis action planning, and more specifically, fires planning. Ability to identify and document the particular challenges associated with achieving intended cyber effects and then to recommend operationally responsive and feasible-for-implementation course of actions (COAs). Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Joint Fires and Targeting functions, and operational design doctrine to develop integrated joint effects plans, orders, mission packages and related communication methods to enable AFCYBER/JFHQ-C(AF) mission execution.
2. Knowledge and familiarization with information operations (IO), information warfare (IW), electronic warfare (EW), military information support operations (MISO), cyberspace operations (CO), public affairs (PA) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Joint and Service doctrine. To effectively plan, organize and coordinate experimental theories and new methods and approaches in support of developing complex solutions to problems.
3. Knowledge of the national Intelligence Community, US Cyber Command, other Combatant Commands, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, joint planning and operations, as well as the Interagency organizations.
4. Knowledge of and skill in analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, as well as measurement of data to plan, schedule, and conduct projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations to include adapting or developing new or modified methods.
5. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with other Directorates, Component Commands, other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, National Security Agency and other Services, peers and management to advocate plans and programs related to accomplishment of the IW NAFs mission.
