This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a Resource Management Specialist trainee performing the following duties in a developmental capacity and under closer than normal supervision.
Duties
Provide assistance for operational activities under the authority of the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Assist with Information Management Area (IMA) acquisitions and reviews invoices for payment of funds to the vendors.
Reviews maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
Assists with analyzing cost and pricing data to determine price reasonableness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category of BUSINESS – FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BUS-FM) and Practitioner Career Level Certification must be met within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- This position requires submission of a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Position is Non-Critical Sensitive (2) requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

General Experience: One year of general experience equivalent to the NH-01 OR GS-04 equivalent grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Prepares and documents the technical and economic data to support the acquisition of complex, multi-function equipment and service. Develops data for negotiating cost, price, and related factors. Performs analysis and makes recommendations regarding the method of acquisition.
