You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the N34 Division, Business Office of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.

Duties

You will establish on going procedures to assess the effectiveness of the commands Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) program. You will develop customer satisfaction by answering contract related question. You will administer orders or contracts by monitoring contract performance, preparing modifications, and determining the necessary course of action to comply with terms and conditions or resolve issues impacting contract performance. You will analyze current Physical Security procedures (e.g. storage, accountability, accessibility, and program configuration) to confirm security of the site. You will interpret a range of regulations and directives to effectively manage security programs and provide guidance.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Serve as advisor and technical expert to the command managers regard contracts; Facilitate modifications to contracts and their financial impact; identify and implement changes to contracts; and coordinate all administrative aspects of the organizations command on planned maintenance programs.
