This position is located in the Washington, DC Commuting Area in the USAID Annex, 500 D Street SW, Washington, DC, in the Bureau for Global Health, Office of Policy, Planning, and Programs at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Duties

The incumbent will serve as team lead for the Office’s budget team, reporting to the Office Director. Administers budget formulation to ensure that operating program objectives are met. Plans, initiates, organizes and coordinates the Bureau's program for the Congressional Budget Justification, Operational Year Budget and Operational Planning. Coordinates Congressional Notifications, responses to Congressional inquiries, briefing materials for USAID officials, and requests from other government agencies and the public. Plans and coordinates assigned technical office(s)' program operations, including programming and budgeting for contracts, cooperative agreements, grants to international organizations, and Interagency Agreements. Participates in and leads USAID working groups on program development, monitoring and budgetary operations. Coordinates with other government agencies, Bureaus, USAID Missions, and private contractors on activities that have a direct bearing on Office and Bureau programs. Develops and monitors the internal management controls of the Office.
