As a Management and Program Analyst with Johnson Space Center, you will be responsible for applying the full range of subject matter methods, principles, practices, and evaluative methodologies sufficient to advise on and/or resolve a range of operational and/or strategic issues, which may range from recurring through complex and unprecedented. You will use a range of analytical methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve products and services.
Duties
Serves as the Business Management Office (BMO) Primary and Alternate Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for existing SMA Directorate contracts.
Serves as the BMO Program Planning and Control Officer and coordinates financial forecasting, task order development, resource requirements for program/project formulation and proposal development.
Supports the budget analysts with FTE, budget data, etc. Performs data validation and quality control checks to ensure adherence to study protocol, and reports on analytical findings.
Provides data management and analysis for studies and maintains assigned projects.
Provides communications, media, legislative, and operations expertise in support of NASA's mission, as appropriate.
Participates in strategic planning with regards to program development.
Develops and/or assists with program and/or management assessments ensuring programmatic and/or management goals are well documented.
Creates and/or recommends new strategies in area of expertise.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:
Supporting Program Planning and Control processes to coordinate financial forecasting, task order development, resource requirements for program/project formulation and proposal development;
Assisting budget analysts with collecting and assessing data, conducting studies and/or trend analyses, performing strategic assessments, and reporting on analytical findings to recommend solutions to improve operations;
Serving as or supporting the Primary and Alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to manage, maintain, and oversee Directorate contracts and monitor contractor performance.
