As the Supervisory Manager of Cost and Schedule Analysis in the Strategic Business Integration Office of the NASA Johnson Space Center's Exploration Architecture, Integration, and Science Directorate, you will advance the office mission to provide Program Planning and Control expertise in the areas of probabilistic cost estimating, cost and schedule risk analysis, joint confidence level analysis, and programmatic assessments across Human Spaceflight programs and projects.
Duties
Provides leadership and expertise in cost, schedule, and risk analysis to effectively assist a diverse team in delivering products to programs, the Center, and Agency stakeholders.
Manages a team through the balancing of priorities, work schedules, and resources.
Collaborates and integrates programmatic activities with key stakeholders internal and external to the organization and Center.
Leads and/or serves on teams as the subject matter specialist/representative or expert as appropriate.
Creates and maintains positive morale in the organization; identifies and considers employee experience and motivation to ensure a healthy balance of personal and mission success.
Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.

Requirements
- Current Federal employees must meet qualifications, time in grade, and 90 days after competitive appointment requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

- If the individual selected is currently at the GS-15 grade level, they will be detailed at their current grade and step. If the individual is a current GS-14 they will be temporarily promoted to the GS-15 level.
- A one-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level
Developing program/project requirements (e.g., executing cost, schedule, and risk analysis) for broad projects or human spaceflight programs;
Managing high visibility activities at the request of senior leadership and in close coordination and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders;
Analyzing data and evaluating the effectiveness of programs/projects to present and recommend improvements to leadership.
