Duties

Provide research and technical experience to researchers in all stages of the design and execution of research. Conduct personal interviews to support research activities. Write or contribute to parts of research reports.

Selective Factor: Applicants must have the ability to converse and translate fluently from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. Specialized Experience: For the GS-7, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-5 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes applying social or behavioral science to provide support in the conduct of research or collaborative studies; experience providing support for researchers; experience in data collection, programming, and process development; experience conducting research and providing detailed analyses. OR Education: 1 year of graduate-level education or superior academic achievement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.
