Duties
Utilizes knowledge of policies, regulations and procedures governing to experimentation, Test Plans, Cross Functional Team modernization efforts, Headquarters oversight and monitoring of Project Convergence series
Assist programs in planning, directing, coordinating, managing, and reviewing all elements of Test and Evaluation.
Provides management oversight, monitors progress, advises and directs collocated and non-collocated matrix test and evaluation support personnel in developing management support for all programs.
Performs analytical tasks associated with new or amended policies, orders, regulations received from higher headquarters, joint staff, subordinate entities, etc. to ascertain appropriate implementation and compliance, as required.
Develops guidance and direction consistent with operational needs and capabilities.
Performance of duties requires a high degree of qualitative and/or quantitative analytical skills, the ability to independently research problems, written and oral communication skills, and the application of judgment in problem solving.
Maintains continuous liaison with Director G-3/5/7 and staff on concerning exercises, test, activities, training, program planning, development, execution, and evaluation.
Participates in developing Test and Evaluation policy guidance.
Formulates and presents substantial technical recommendations for problem resolution.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty travel is required up to 20% of the time.
- Incumbent must possess or obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for duration of employment.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes; 1) Assisting in planning and reviewing all elements of Test and Evaluation to include integrated functional areas such as safety, logistics, acquisition management, planning, documentation, and execution. 2) Providing and coordinating assistance for operational support, training, and/or planning missions. 3) Independently conducting analysis and research of special projects.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
