About the Position: This position is located at TRADOC, CASCOM, Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, Virginia is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Local Transportation via the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) bus service to the surrounding area which includes Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, York County, Gloucester, Suffolk, and Smithfield.

Duties

Develops and instructs complete, full-length courses (or major course units of comparable scope) to support US Army Maritime engineering training. Plans and develops course materials such as programs of instruction, lesson plans, practical exercises, test materials and all other supplemental training materials. Develops and update lesson plans for upper-division undergraduate (or equivalent) courses or courses in advanced technical systems, specifically Army vessel maintenance incorporating all aspects of that occupation. Presents material in accordance with lesson plans and within prescribed course framework.

D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Education or any relating to this field. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
