About the Position: This is a Management Analyst for US Army Acquisition Support Center, Program Executive Office, Missiles & Space, Redstone, Arsenal, Alabama. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for preparing Requests for Personnel Actions (RPA) for the Project Office and performing a wide variety of Civilian Human Resources and management functions.

Duties

Serves as point of contact for information regarding management status, reporting requirements, and human resources management compliance. Assists with updating Table Distribution Allowances (TDA) to reflect mission and manpower variations. Provides guidance to management and employees regarding Acquisition Demo (ACQ Demo) procedures and policy directives. Analyzes data to prepare a variety of human resources reports. Collaborates with senior management to implement the strategic human resources management program, and other programs to support effective Project Office recruitment strategies. Acts as liaison to the servicing Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) for all aspects of the human resources process.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) providing assistance on matters pertaining to personnel functional areas (i.e. recruitment, position management, and classification); (2) utilizing an established automated system to track personnel actions; (3) providing recommendations to management regarding personnel actions; (4) performing actions required to manage and monitor manpower authorizations for civilian strength; and (5) overseeing the training requirements of employees within the assigned organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level (GS-11/NH-2) position in the federal service.
